It’s with sincere gratitude and amazement of God’s glory and goodness shown to us throughout this (2 1/2 years of classes throughout 4 years) journey…
We announce…

Words spoken to Amy

I’ve been shown something between my husband and I that I really need to ask forgiveness for!

Words spoken to Amy

I’ve realized an are of pride (people pleasing). I wondered why I felt the need to tell everyone my story and what’s happened to me so that they wouldn’t think badly of me…I don’t have to live like that anymore.(prayer)

Words spoken to Amy

“I know what I must do…I haven’t been following the calling that God has given me…”- Anonymous

Words spoken to Amy

I haven’t read my Bible or prayed myself (in the last year?) for a long time- I will be starting to do that as my first step towards him.

Clint & Amy are gonna have a baby!!!:)

Friends and Family….God in His sovereignty has been preparing me this whole year for such an announcement and gift as this…Clint and I are gonna have a baby!!!:) We found out almost immediately following the South Sudan mission in November of 2013, but have not posted anything for reasons of no consequence!:) Really we just wanted to make sure that we had told all that we could in person before allowing it to go viral- the process seemed to be more important than just “letting everyone know” and we have loved the journey God has taken us together!!:)

FORT CAMPBELL here we come! :)

Well, it’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted anything, and I will be sending out another post very soon to tell all about what’s been happening since my travels to Africa in November…:) 🙂 🙂 (Keeping you in suspense for now! 🙂

Tomorrow I head to Fort Campbell to speak to a very excited group of PWOC military personnel & the wives of many men in uniform (many of them deployed overseas without their families). The last time I was blessed to go to Fort Campbell was (if my memory serves me) in 2008!

God’s been very clear in what I’m to speak on… “The Big Picture” or rather…”Finding Life…to the Fullest.” It all revolves around knowing the whole of God’s story, our sin; Our need, and HIm being the provision…many nuggets of truth build the entire picture. I’ve been drawn to tears myself as I study…
Jesus, speak in a way & authority that only You can to these women…and let their lives (& mine O Lord) to be forever changed…and in the state of continual transformation because of “seeing You.” For Your glory…and that You may be made known…

Arrived Safely in Nairobi!:)

Eight team members. 9 extra suitcases. 8 personal Suitcase. 8 personal backpacks- ALL ARRIVED in Nairobi SAFELY!:)
Well, you never think that the moment you come to a country you will have movie-like scenarios, but we did!:) We were picked up by our friend Jack the Driver:) and dearest sister Rosemary took at least 5 seconds of sheer rejoicing as she she hugged each of us. My last time with her was in 2011- and while at a tea shop I shared my conclusion that Clint was who I wanted to love the rest of my life!:) This time I showed her the fruition of that realization in one look at my wedding ring!:)
Then came a bit of drama: With a mere bright flashlight, we were pulled to the side of the road by men with very large guns and military uniforms. They pointed to one in the car, and though we assumed they had singled us out for money, they unfortunately found the back seat passengers surrounded with bags and without their seatbelts (next time you are in Africa, count the number of people with seatbelts if you can find any:):). We were told we would be taken to the station, pay 2000 shillings and go to court within two days. We all stayed silent as our driver had to get out of the car by order- their plan was to get us scared enough to pay them….But we refused to get out of the car and as they all talked over each other I began to try to build repor by telling this man about the word “grace” and asking him for it on our behalf. He understood mercy and smiled that I was teaching him something in love. If I would have had longer I might have gotten to tell him about Christ!:) Soon they all agreed we had a great driver and that I had been friendly…we went without having to pay anything.

Although everything has been going great, we need prayer because one of our teammates is very sick with a migraine, and another teammate just found out that her Dad is in the hospital and will most likely be getting a pacemaker.

5 hrs left for sleep…thinking Ill use the Internet to mail myself some things and study for the next two hours!:)

Leaving Again… On my way to South Sudan!!:)

Dear friends and family!!!:) I love you all!!:) After 6 days at home with Clint (wonderful time!!:), Im getting on another flight overseas in about 30 min. Clint figured out that in the last week and a half I have been in Africa China Australia America and Europe. Oh this adventure I feel so honored to be able to go on it! 🙂 I think my body given up on jet lag 🙂

South Sudan in only a matter of hours – Dinka wreck tribe! To tell you how excited IM would take more than just words on paper! Contact I cannot believe that I actually get to live this dream out! God has heavily laid on my heart the need for their salvation even know we are supposedly talking to a church to crowd however different that might be in South Sudan. The ideas that he is giving me for this trip are very different from anything that he’s giving me before. I am to see their faces thrilled to step off the plane on the dirt runway with the tried jumping up-and-down praising God! We are about to board but I just wanted to tell you all I love you please please pray as Satan does not want what I believe in faith very likely about to happen from Nov. 7-18th!!:)
